Who ARE we?

ALPHA Sports Media is rooted in the journey of Nate Garner. A former Arkansas offensive lineman, In 2007 Garner helped the Razorbacks defeat the soon to become National Champion LSU Tigers (their Only Loss) and Advance to the Cotton Bowl before being selected by the New York Jets in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He later joined the Miami Dolphins and built a seven-year professional career, playing all five positions along the offensive line.
When injuries ended his playing career, the recovery and rebuilding process became the doorway to a new calling. Instead of walking away from the game, Garner stepped into coaching and began pouring into the next generation. His path took him through the New Orleans Saints, Arkansas, junior college football in South Florida, St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and Limestone University before becoming head football coach at North Greenville University.
That journey shapes everything ALPHA is meant to be. This platform is not just about producing content. It is about developing people. Under the ALPHA umbrella, players will have opportunities to grow in podcasting, interviewing, public speaking, filming, editing, photography, social media, branding, and wherever that journey of growth takes them. The goal is bigger than media alone—it is to help build confident communicators, strong leaders, and young men prepared to make an impact wherever God leads them.
Now leading North Greenville, Garner has already helped guide the program to an undefeated Conference Carolinas run, the inaugural Conference Carolinas Bowl title, and a return to the NCAA Division II Football Championship—evidence of the same standard of leadership, preparation, and purpose that stands behind ALPHA Sports Media.
As ALPHA grows, it will create opportunities for supporters and partners to invest in a platform built on leadership, development, and purpose.

Nate Garner is the head football coach at North Greenville University and co-host of The ALPHA Podcast. He is focused on building strong men, strong culture, and a championship standard on and off the field.
